Privacy Policy

SB Hero Technologies Inc. (“SB Hero”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Epic Inventory, a Shopify app for component-level inventory management.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you install and use Epic Inventory, how we use it, and your rights as a merchant. By installing Epic Inventory, you agree to the collection and use of data as described in this policy.

We collect only the data necessary to provide Epic Inventory's features:

• Shopify store data — your shop domain and access tokens, encrypted at rest, used to authenticate API requests.
• Order data — order IDs, line items, and fulfillment status, used to track inventory movements in real time.
• Product data — product titles, SKUs, and variant IDs, used to build your inventory catalogue.
• Business settings — company name, address, and purchase order preferences you configure inside the app.

We do not collect or store end-customer personal data beyond what is required by Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact).

• To provide inventory tracking, demand forecasting, and purchase order features.
• To send low-stock alert emails to the addresses you configure inside the app.
• To authenticate your Shopify store and keep your data in sync via webhooks.

We never sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with anyone outside of the service providers listed below.

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you uninstall Epic Inventory, your store is deactivated in our system and data is no longer actively processed.

To request complete deletion of your store's data, email support@sbhero.ca. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We respond to Shopify's three mandatory GDPR webhooks:

• customers/data_request — we provide any stored customer data upon request.
• customers/redact — we remove customer data from our systems when requested.
• shop/redact — we delete all shop data within 48 hours of receiving this webhook.

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We select sub-processors that meet appropriate security standards.
