Trades that live and die by the phone.
If your work is worth thousands and your customer finds you by searching, you're the whole point of this. If you get all your work from one builder, you probably don't need me.

One business per trade, per area. Two septic companies in the same service area can't both come first in the same search, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. When your trade in your area is taken, it's taken.
Setting it up is the small part. Keeping it working is the job.
Most shops want the whole thing paid up front and then disappear. My setup fee is $895 — and it drops to nothing if you commit to a year. After that you're paying for someone who still answers the phone in month fourteen.
Set up properly, once
- Written from a conversation with you, in your words — not filled-in template copy
- A page for each town you serve, so you show up in searches that name it
- Loads fast on a phone with two bars of signal
- Tap-to-call on every screen — most of your traffic is thumbs, not mouse clicks
- A quote form that emails you the moment it's filled in
- Structured so AI assistants can read and quote you — hours, service area, plain-language answers
- Your Google Business Profile cleaned up, claimed and connected
- Photos of your actual work — I come out and shoot them
Then looked after
- Hosting, SSL and your domain, all handled — nothing to renew, ever
- Daily backups and software updates
- Text me a change and it gets made — you never log into anything
- Review requests that go out automatically after a job
- A private dashboard showing every lead the site brought in
- Service reminders to past customers, on your schedule
- New pages and articles written for you as the season changes
- A monthly report, or a phone call if you'd rather just talk
Five steps. You're involved in two of them.
- STEP 01
Fifteen minutes on the phone
You tell me what you do, where you go, and what you wish customers understood before they call. I take notes. No pitch deck, no slides.
- STEP 02
I put it together
You don't pay anything and you don't do anything. About a week later there's a real website with your name on it, on a real address, that you can open on your phone.
- STEP 03
You tell me what's wrong with it
Wrong photo, wrong price, we don't go that far south — say so. Changes are free until you're happy. If you don't want it, you don't take it, and you've lost nothing but a phone call.
- STEP 04
It goes live
Domain, hosting, Google profile, the lot. Your first month starts the day it's live, not the day we talked.
Live in 30 days or month one is free - STEP 05
I look after it
For as long as you want me to. After your initial term it's thirty days' notice, from either of us, no reason needed. Your domain, your Google profile, your leads and your photos are yours the whole way through.
Three plans, and a setup fee you can wipe out.
Prices in Canadian dollars. Every plan includes everything in the one above it. Setup & launch is a separate one-time fee — see how it disappears below.
Foundation
For a business that mostly needs to exist online and be findable. Month to month, no term.- Hosting, SSL and domain management
- Daily backups and software updates
- Two small content edits a month
- Google Business Profile set up and connected
Growth
For a business that wants the site to actually produce work. 6 or 12-month term.- Automatic review requests after every job
- Private lead dashboard — see every call and form
- Service reminders to past customers
- A landing page for each town you serve
- Search monitoring and a monthly report
Pro
For a business trying to own its trade in this county. 6 or 12-month term.- A new page or article every month
- A 30-minute call each month instead of a report
- Two Google posts a month, and review replies drafted within one business day
- Seasonal campaign material twice a year
- Small edits done within two business days
- An on-site photo session, refreshed yearly
Setup & launch
Discovery call, copywriting, town pages, photo shoot, Google Business Profile cleanup, listing merges, domain and launch. A trades site with town pages and proper search work runs $6,000–$12,000 in this market — charged up front, before you've seen anything.
Here's where it actually lands:
- Foundation — month to month$895
- Growth — 6-month term$445
- Growth — 12-month termWaived
- Pro — 6 or 12-month termWaived
You can move up a plan at any time. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes — no HST currently charged. A small content edit is a text or photo swap on an existing page, under fifteen minutes; new pages and new sections are quoted separately. A photo session is one visit of up to two hours producing up to twenty edited photographs. Cancel any time after your initial term with 30 days' notice.
Four things I'll put in the contract.
Not a value proposition. Clauses, in the agreement you sign, that cost me money if I break them.
Fair pricing, forever
Prices move only when my costs move. If you're already with me, your price stays where it is — new features never come with a new invoice.
Live in 30 days, or month one is free
Once you've given me your details, photos and access, the clock is on me. The only thing that pauses it is waiting on something from your end.
Ninety days to change your mind
Cancel inside the first ninety days and you owe nothing on the setup fee, waived or reduced. The site comes down and you keep everything that was already yours. No clawback, no invoice on the way out.
No ranking promises
I set the site up so search engines and AI assistants can read and quote your business properly. Nobody controls what they do with it, and anyone who guarantees you a position is selling something.
You're leasing the site, and I'll say so plainly.
You're not paying thousands up front, so you don't own the site up front — that's the trade. Everything a business actually worries about losing is already in your name from day one, and the price to own the site outright is printed here, not negotiated later.
- The domain — registered in your name
- Your Google Business Profile
- Analytics and Search Console
- Every lead and customer record
- The photos I shoot of your work
- The site files and the code behind them
- Hosting and the technical setup
Which is why I keep it running, patched and backed up at my cost rather than yours.
Starts at $3,000, drops $100 for every month you've been with me, floor of $500. Exercise it any day you like.
Tell us how to reach you.
Leave your number and we'll call you back — usually within one business day. Just the essentials; we'll cover the rest on the call.
Fair enough.
I've got a Facebook page. Isn't that the same thing?
It's better than nothing, and you should keep it. But it's a page inside somebody else's building. AI assistants can't read it, Google won't rank it the way it ranks a site, and if Facebook locks your account on a Tuesday you have no phone number online at all. You also can't put a quote form or a service-area map on it.
I already had a website. It didn't do anything.
Usually one of three things: nobody could find it, it didn't work on a phone, or it never told anyone what you actually charge or how far you drive. Those are all fixable, and the reason the monthly matters — a site nobody maintains stops working within about two years.
I'm not technical. I don't want to learn a system.
You won't. There's nothing to log into. When you need a change you text or email me and it gets made. That's the entire process.
What happens if I want out?
Thirty days' notice after your initial term, either of us, no reason required. If your setup fee was reduced or waived for a 6 or 12-month commitment, that's the term you're giving notice after — and inside the first ninety days you owe nothing on it regardless. Your domain, Google Business Profile, leads, customer data and photos stay yours. The site itself stays with me unless you buy it out.
So I don't own the website?
Not unless you buy it. You're leasing it, the same way you'd lease a truck you didn't want to drop forty thousand on. The buyout starts at $3,000 and comes down $100 for every month you've been with me, with a floor of $500 — so after two years it's $600 and you can take the whole thing. I'd rather tell you that on the first page than have you find it in year two. Everything that matters to your business — the domain, the profile, the leads, the photos — is in your name the entire time.
Are you working with my competitors?
Not in your trade in your area. I'll pitch several businesses in the same trade, but I only sign one per area — otherwise I'd be competing against my own client, which is a good way to have neither.
Who is this, actually?
SB Hero Technologies Inc., operating as Small Business Hero. Same shop that builds Shopify apps for small retailers — we got tired of paying enterprise prices for tools that didn't fit, so we started building our own. This is the same idea pointed at websites. You deal with me directly, not a ticket queue.
Fifteen minutes, and I'll set it up before you decide.
That's the offer. One call, then a real website with your name on it that you can look at on your phone before a dollar changes hands.
